My seam ripper was put to good use on Scout's Honor. In no time I pieced together the nine-patch and then the border around it. I wasn't happy with one side of the border, so out came the seam ripper. It took me a couple of tries to get it right, when in the end; it wasn't that bad in the first place. Then it seemed like hours to attach the four corner triangles. Two of the triangles have blunt ends, but for some strange reason when I drew on the stitching lines, I extended them to complete the points of the triangle. This making them too big. Finally the light bulb went on and I realized what I had done.

Love your fabric selection. Ditto to Mrs. Quilty's description of seam rippers. I have as any seam rippers scattered around the house as I have reading glasses. I'm lost if I can't locate either one.

Some blocks just mess with our minds! I know I've had stitching days like that one. But, it looks like this block definitely had a happy ending.
