Number of pieces: 5
Method used: hand applique

Just the right fabric can turn a plain block into a pretty block.  I went with the original version of Ashley's Aura instead of following the pattern in the book.  Though very interesting, it was much more involved.  Maybe Brenda thought the original was boring, I did at first.
