Border Top Row 6

Difficulty of block: easy
Number of pieces: 22
Method used: hand piecing, hand applique

I was expecting a little trouble when it came time to applique the small triangle and teardrop like piece at the point of Carla's Candle Flame, but it went down pretty smooth.

Those little triangles can be killers for me. Yours came out beautifully and it's good to know this is an easy piece. Great job!

Lovely block. I like the purple and red prints together. Did you pose your block on a lovely foot-worn floor or an antique piece of furniture? It's an impressive background for the photo.

It's a lovely block. I love the fabric combination. I wouldn't have chosen it myself, but I think I need to step out of the (my?) box more often to find unexpected but lovely color combinations!

Lovely block, I like the colour combination. I think you are very brave when you combine your fabrics. They all come out so beautifully.
