B-11

Difficulty of block: moderate
Number of pieces: 21
Method used: hand piecing, hand applique

I was holding back on Melissa's Cross, trying to decide how to handle the curves, I went with applique.  Love the fabrics together, but maybe not enough contrast?

Oh, they are lovely fabrics... but I agree with you, maybe not enough contrast...

Ohh yes, this one is wonderful. Love your fabric.

I like your fabrics but I agree that there is not enough contrast to see your beautiful needlework. Good job though!

I agree, not enough contrast, perhaps if you had reversed the fabrics, there would have been better contrast, they are both lovely fabrics, I can see why you wanted to use them.

Afraid so. The lack of contrast between 2 lovely fabrics essentially overwhelms the block structure.

Perhaps a solid red for one?

I love the Dear Jane blocks. I am making this quilt and have made slow progress as too many other quilts are getting in the way, you have inspired me to make some more blocks.

Thanks
Sharon
