Blooming away in my garden right now is a pretty purple fall Aster, so it just seemed fitting to stitch the Autumn Aster block in purple.

It's a lovely block, and a good idea to appliqué. I appliqued the melons, and patched the other pieces. Not one of my best ideas ;o)
