Hi Karen, you say this block is easy, but for me it was very difficult to make. I hate round shapes. What I would do now is applique, just like you.
Your blocks look nice.

I found this one easier than I thought it would be! It is such a lovely square and looks much more complicated than it has to be! I love your material choice! I have 3 ready and have not yet blogged them! Yay me!! I will get them on there this evening!
