G-12

Difficulty of block: easy
Number of pieces: 14
Method used: hand piecing, hand applique

Yes, I do know better by now, but I did it anyway.  I really like the two fabrics together even though contrasting colour is the way to go.  Still, Gloriae will find its place on my quilt top and bring a smile to my face each time I see it.

It's a lovely block!
And the inner points are so precise.

Happy second day of Easter!

I didn't realise you had two blogs!!! Your DJ blocks are just wonderful. I have been collecting fabric for this quilt for a few years now but have not put my toe into the water as yet. I did do one block as a trial to see if I like working this small. I have the book and the CD, all I need now is a parallel life-time to do it LOL!!! Following your journey with this blog may just be the kick in the butt I need LOL!!!

I ALWAYS enjoy viewing your quilt blocks :) I have been so busy with painting and on-line lessons I haven't sewn anything except replace a zipper in hubby's work jacket, lol. hope to get back to my 3 quilts soon.
