Difficulty of block: easy
Number of pieces: 13
Method used: hand piecing
John Jacob's Windmill was another block that I have been avoiding, thinking it was going to be a nasty one to piece, but it turned out to be effortless. I did adjust the rounded bottoms of the pointed pieces to make them more like the original.

Are you just randomly making your blocks? This is another beauty!
You are an inspiration, Such dedication. Love the block and colors.
I really like the scale of the design in the red fabric you used for the center and the 4 pointy parts. Looks great close up and from a distance.
You've done a beautiful job on this one, and (as always) the fabric combination is wonderful.
Beautiful block! I think it was a good desicion to alter the bottoms...
Love the fabrics used in this block.
Look forward to following your progress.
