F-12

Difficulty of block: difficult (Inset seams)
Number of pieces: 16
Method used: hand piecing

Oh the dreaded inset seams!  This was a hard one to manipulate for sure.  A Y-seam would have been easier, as it has a seam leading to the pivot point.  If I was to do Starburst again, I think I would go the applique route, but I am glad I gave it a go, as you can only get better with practice.

Wishing you a very Merry Christmas!

I think you did a great job on the inset seams. Again a lovely block.
(Still wish I was that disciplined to make a block a week ;o) )

This came out great! I dread when it is my turn to make this.

I was beginning to wonder what you would classify as "difficult". The block looks great.

Your construction and fussy cuts look wonderful! Good job!

The fussy cutting on this one is outstanding. It's such a dramatic look with the lines focusing on the center. Lovely!

Oooh, I love this blue fabric! Found this print locally and made Civil War era china doll dresses from it!

A button would be great in the middle!
