L-4

Difficulty of block: easy
Number of pieces: 21
Method used: hand piecing

One always worries when piecing thin strips, but my St. George's Cross turned out pretty good.  After being behind and not getting to my Dear Jane blocks until late in the week, over the past month, I had this one pieced on Monday and next weeks block is prepped and ready to go.

Interesting block. I must have a look at the original. Great choice of fabric - Hugs Nat

This block is absolutely beautiful, the fabric is perfect for this block specially the checked one - wow and there is a straight line though up and across. A very good one. :)

Goodness, you do inspire me. I've missed visiting you. I'm afraid I've gotten off track. However, I've really enjoyed catching up tonight. Your work is beautiful, and says it all...

Hi Karen, its been a while since I last visited here, been busy with out-of-state compamy recently, but I am always glad to come back and view your progress. Your work is always so neat! and I love the old style prints and colors. Reminds me of my Grandmothers quilting.
Have a blessed weekend!

Beautiful work! I especially love the fabric you chose for the narrow strips-- so lovely.
