G-5

Difficulty of block: easy
Number of pieces: 8
Method used: hand piecing, hand applique

The name of this block is how last week went for me, Poof!  It was late Sunday evening before I had a chance to prep my block, so I had to wait to stitch it this evening.  It's late, but done.  Not a very exciting block, or so I thought, but it turned out to be quite interesting even before the applique was added.

Very interesting background fabric. I like the applique piece too. Nice block - Hugs Nat

That's so ingenious to put the four ladies in that shape; your quilt is going to be incredible.

Reminds me of Gibson Girls. I wallpapered a room in my dollhouse with that print on a blue background when I was little. That is a cool way to use that cheater cloth. An easy shape to appliqué always helps.

I have some of that fabric with the lovely ladies, haven't used it yet. I like what you did with it.

What an inventive block! That background fabric had me fooled for a bit. Each of your blocks is a work of art.

Great work on G-5, love the fussy cut center!
