M-1

Difficulty of block: easy
Number of pieces: 29
Method used: hand piecing

I really like this block and it does remind me of Dogwood Days.  After I had traced the pattern onto freezer paper and was about to cut out the pieces I noticed an Oops!  There seems to be many an Oops! in this Dear Jane book.  The four triangles had to be made larger so they extended to the edges of the squares.

Pretty colors in this one. I think I've averaged about one "oops" for every 4 or 5 blocks that went together smoothly.

All these blocks are wonderful! What really catches my eye is the fabrics you are using...they are so me! (my comfort zone)

I agree it is cute! I really can not wait to see your quilt when it is all done :)
I was thinking the same thing about the book.

Beautiful! Someday I will tackle Dear Jane, but until then I'm happy to ogle the work of others. I love the colors you chose.

This is a really pretty block! Very nice colors. Thanks for sharing. I too, will admire your Dear Jane blocks, while I work on my simpler Double Irish Chain for grand-daughter :)

I love your fabric choices, especially the beige one - very pretty.

Thanks for pointing out another oops! Your list has been really helpful.
