Method used: hand piecing

Stitching together Family Reunion was like piecing a miniature quilt.  All the different fabrics used in the nine patch blocks came from one piece of fabric, a piece of fabric made to look like patchwork.

Oooh, I've just made this one too! I really like the fabric, especially the way the block is called Family Reunion and the fabric has people in it!

That is a really great idea for using fabric. I thought when I saw the block it all came from a scrap bin.
