A-4

Difficulty of block: moderate
Number of pieces: 23
Method used: hand piecing

The last block for 2009 is Courtney's Stethoscope and what a pretty one it is! My goal for the year was one block a week and I met it. At this rate, it will take me another 3 years to complete all the blocks. It sounds like a long time, but not really. I think my slow and steady will make good time. For the most part, I am pretty pleased with the results. A little disappointed with a couple of blocks, due to lack of contrast in fabric, but I'm working on that.

The countdown is on and I wish you a Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to you too;) I'm looking forward to see your DJ blocks again in the next year. And I'm sure there is a lot of beauties to come...
I have neglected mine totally in these past months... I must pull myself up!!!

Slow and steady is fine...you'll get there.

Slow and steady wins the race -- not sure where that phrase comes from, but it fits. Lovely fabrics.

Beautiful colors. Love to see this repeated in a quilt.

Lovely! The fabrics in this one are gorgeous. And great job on keeping up with your goal of a block a week!
