M-5

Difficulty of block: easy
Number of pieces: 14
Method used: hand piecing

I'm not sure why, but Brenda has redrafted Mother's Point from the original pattern. The four little squares in two of the blocks should be completely enclosed. Two sides are missing. I have listed this block as an Oops! block on my sidebar. It's still looks nice though.

A road trip to Pennsylvania and a day trip to Toronto have done wonders for my reproduction stash. I found some lovely purples, a bundle of Jo Morton's new line called Toast II and many more. Around 26 yards (about 107 pieces) of reproduction fabric. This should keep me going for a very long time.

Lovely block! It sounds like you've been busy with stash enhancement. How fun! :)

Most people are worried about reducing their stash and you are out buying more for your stash! Love it! Some stashes need replenishing once in awhile!! Good Job!

Oh, you're lucky to have some of the new Toast.

Stash replenishing fills our hearts with gladness, don't you think? I breathe more easily when my stacks of repro fabrics are spilling out of a box or bin. I wouldn't want to run out.
Sounds like you had a fantastic shopping session. I'm envious re: Jo Morton's Toast line -- it's luscious, but then what repro line isn't?
You've made another sweet little block.
Happy quilting!
