E-2

Difficulty of block: easy
Number of pieces: 11
Method used: hand piecing, hand applique

Merry May was another fun one to make. I love the colour purple and noticed I only have a couple of pieces in my reproduction stash. Also, I have very little in the way of light neutral fabric. Time for a little shopping!

One of my favorite color combinations is purple + green. Love your use of lines in the outer pieces. Hope you have fun shopping for more purples.

Hi Karen - I have DJ on my to do list for ages, even have a bolt of background fabric, but haven't got there yet. But these photos are inspring me. They look gorgeous.

Love it, it looks so pretty. Also admire how you managed to make that weird F-13 attractive instead of clunky.

I just came across your blog for the first time. I have to admire anyone who does the Dear Jane quilt. Your fabrics you choose are outstanding for it, doesn't seem traditional. Can't wait to see it all together.

I really love that purple! It is lovely-- and just right in this block. Beautiful.
