C-5

Difficulty of block: easy (if you like applique)
Number of pieces: 17
Method used: hand piecing, hand applique, reverse applique

Eye of the Cyclone looks difficult, but it was pretty straight forward. Build in three sections: background, circle and frame. I really enjoyed making this one and was happy with the fabric combination. Unfortunately, it looks washed out in the photo.

So Pretty and neat and tidy! I'm terrified of the applique blocks! Your right - the fabric combination is very good.

Your fabrics keep getting better and better. This one turned out fabulous.

karen your blocks are just awesome and your display is just as creative.. I know I have said this many times but you just amaze me..great that you are using other colors besides beige for your background..wonder what you will use as sashing in the end..is there an end??LOL

Applique. Good choice for constructing the block.

I don't think it looks washed out at all. Beautiful construction.
