K-12

Difficulty of block: easy
Number of pieces: 11
Method used: hand piecing

This pretty little block is called Doris's Dilemma and it sure did cause a bit of a dilemma. I use the old fashioned method and trace the patterns straight from the book. As always, I began by numbering each pattern piece. Then something caught my eye. The inner square was on an angle. The original pattern was not. So, comes the dilemma. Do I use the pattern as is or do I redraw it, so it looks like the original. Well, I redraw it, of course!

Until next week.....happy quilting!
